Division
of Vocational Rehabilitation
Colorado Department of Human Services
The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation assists
individuals whose disabilities result in
barriers to employment to succeed at work
and live independently. The division
offices provide goods and/or services
necessary to help individuals with
disabilities to secure and/or retain
employment, including Rehabilitation
Engineering and other technological
services. Independent living training can be
arranged through Independent Living
Centers in local communities. Clients
benefit by securing gainful employment,
achieving self-sufficiency, increasing
self-esteem, improving quality of life, and
by decreasing dependency on Public
Assistance programs.
