Kenneth W. Berger Hearing Aid Museum and Archives
This collection at Kent State University encompasses more than 3000 different hearing aid models, the world's largest collection of ear trumpets and hearing aids. It is housed at the School of Speech Pathology and Audiology of Kent State University, admission is free, and guided tours can be arranged by appointment. Contact Irvin J. John Q. Adams Center for the History of Otolaryngology--Head and Neck Surgery
The Virtual Museum on the website has information on the history of medical and surgical care of the ears, nose, throat, head, and neck. At the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the John Q. Adams Center houses the Rosalind N. and David Myers Collection of hearing aids, a hundred­-plus item collection including examples of nearly every type.

Virtual Tour of the Ear
The Virtual Tour of the Ear is an interactive website organized to assist people in understanding the hearing mechanism, by means of photographs, drawings, and explanations of the features of the ear. The Sound and The Fury
This documentary, produced by WNET and PBS, documents one family's struggle over whether or not to provide two deaf children with cochlear implants. This film was a 2001 Academy Award nominee for Best Documentary Feature, and has sparked controversy in the Deaf and hard of hearing communities. This website also includes pages introducing Deaf culture, assistive technology, and a discussion and debate on cochlear implants.
